Martin Gomberg, CISSP, CIPP/E, a.k.a The Privacy CIO, is a corporate advisor, Founder and Executive of Cyberite LLC, a Senior Privacy Consultant specialized in GDPR, CPRA, COPPA and other areas of privacy readiness and implementation.

 

Martin is a founding associate of The Privacy Panel, a global collaborative of privacy expertise, and an IANS Research 'Ask-An- Expert' faculty member.

 

He has spent over thirty years in technical operations, as Vice President of Technical Strategies for a major bank, CIO for a major cable television and media brand, and Senior Vice President and Global Director of Technical Security, Governance, Privacy, and Business Protection for the same.

 

He is a founding member of the CIO Executive Council, formerly Vice Chair of the U.S. State Department Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) for the Media and Entertainment Industry Working Group, and served as a member of several industry ISACS.

 

An active speaker, author and blogger on issues and practices in security, business continuity and crisis management as well as global data protection, governance, and privacy, he has been recognized in citation and awards including the CIO Executive Council award for Outstanding Contribution to the Profession.
